Arizona State University to Launch Medical School

Program Description

The Arizona Board of Regents has asked Arizona State University to expand medical education in Arizona by launching a new medical school, one charged with addressing the significant and growing healthcare needs of the state. The new ASU School of Medicine and Advanced Medical Engineering will integrate clinical medicine, biomedical science, and engineering. In addition to a new medical school, ASU Health will pioneer advances in health care while growing ASU’s partnership with the Mayo Clinic; expand the nursing workforce; and bridge engineering and medicine to advance problem-solving and address complex healthcare problems.
