Developing Arizona Healthcare Workforce Minimum Data Set

Program Description

The Developing Arizona Healthcare Workforce Minimum Data Set is a collaboration of Arizona stakeholders to develop a system to provide timely, accurate, and standardized data about the healthcare workforce in Arizona. In 2019 the Healthcare Professions Workforce Data Repository was created to collect information from health professionals and establish an advisory committee. State licensing Boards are to implement questions into their licensing applications to contribute to the data set. 

Program Goals and Impacts

The Arizona Healthcare Workforce Minimum Data Set aims to collect key data sets concerning the healthcare workforce in Arizona. These data will give the state a better understanding of the healthcare workforce and what can be done to support it.

No funding set aside.

To attain sustainability continued support and maintenance of a health professionals workforce database is needed.
