Program Description
The funding for this program goes towards student nurse clinical rotations, preceptor programs, and specialty nursing skill programs. The first round had forty-six health systems apply with $110 million requested. The impact of the first round included more preceptors for nursing schools and residency programs, additional specialty programs and advanced practice programs.

The goal of the Nurse Clinical Rotation and Licensed Nurse Training Program is to increase the number of preceptors available for nursing school students and create additional residency programs and advanced practice programs. Funding Information
The program entails $27 million per fiscal year for three years administered by AHCCCS. The program runs from 2022 through 2027.
Program Sustainability
To attain sustainability the program must increase the capacity of nursing education programs and organizations to work collaboratively to provide preceptor programs for all levels of nurses.
