Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program

Program Description

The NURSE Corps Loan Repayment Program (NURSE Corps LRP) assists in the recruitment and retention of professional Registered Nurses (RNs) and advanced practice RNs (i.e., nurse practitioners, certified registered nurse anesthetists, certified nurse midwives, and clinical nurse specialists). The program offers financial assistance to eligible RNs to repay a portion of their qualifying educational loans in exchange for two years of full-time service either at a healthcare facility with a critical shortage of nurses or at an accredited eligible school of nursing in the case of nurse faculty.
