The Community Foundation Grant Program
Description
Many non-profits in the community have a clear vision of their mission and the need they are trying to fulfill but do not necessarily have an idea of how to achieve the funding or resources that are necessary to put their game plan in place. This is where the Maricopa Community Foundation can help. By investing in creative ideas and organizations, the Community Foundation can create real, systemic change in the community. The Foundation provides continual support to organizations to make sure they have the resources needed to keep solving the most pressing issues the community faces. The Community Foundation Grant Program consists of separate funds created by individual donors who establish specific criteria for the administration of their grants and is consistent with overall Community Foundation policy.
Grants are made year-round. They include Donor Advised Funds, whose advisor recommend grants based on their interests as well as several competitive funding opportunities offered by the Foundation. Strong non-profits are vital to the health of our community. Along with funding opportunities, the Community Foundation provides non-profits with valuable educational and mentorship opportunities.
